Boot98se zip8/28/2023 To create a bootable floppy from within WindowsXP: XP is totally capable of creating a ME version boot disk: Good luck post any questions you might have, and someone will help you. See this link for important information about putting Win9.x on a harddrive with an operating system already installed: You might have an option in your CMOS settings to boot from a CD-ROM drive, but if you want to boot from the floppy disk, you'll have to set the CMOS to boot from the A: drive your default setting might NOT work that way. When you boot with this disk, you'll have the option of using the CD-ROM drive. Remove the floppy disk, and be SURE to write-protect it, to keep it from possible infection in the future. When the program finishes, the dialog box will disappear. You'll see another dialog box with a progress bar, so you'll know that the program is actually working. Insert a BLANK floppy disk, or one which does NOT contain any data you need, then click on the "OK" button. ![]() ![]() When it opens, it will tell you to insert a floppy disk into the drive. Once the (short) download completes, find the program and DOUBLE-CLICK on it. Simply download the boot98se.exe program from one of those sites, and save it to the Desktop. You can download a program to make a Win98SE bootdisk from any one of these four links, while using ANY Windows operating system if one site is busy, try another:
